Looked like any other neutral eyeshadow palette. I almost didn’t want to buy the product until I swatched it on the spot. Find out what made me changed my mind below.
PRODUCT & PACKAGING:
Comes in a black plastic eyeshadow packaging. It feels quite filmsy that when you drop it, the palette might crack. However, the palette is small and lightweight; perfect for traveling. As usual, an eyeshadow applicator is given. I usually put them aside for glitter application.
Mostly great apart from the ingredient list containing TALC. There has been reports in the media that talc is a cancer causing agent. And so, that worries me. Also, there has been alot of chatter in the beauty industry of the dangers in using products containing talc and parabens. However, there isn’t any concrete evidence (relating to talc) that proofs the risks in using such products. So…heck, I’ll use it anyway. Life’s too short to be worried about every single thing anyway.
All eyeshadows are very pigmented. I kid you not. I have not tried any eyeshadow palette that gives a great pigmentation for ALL COLORS.
I’m loving all the colors.
RM69.90. I’d say this product is a bang for your buck! 12 colors; RM5.82 per shade. How inexpensive is that? Buying single shadow colors from other brands could costs at least 6 times of that. And, if you compare to higher end palettes like the Urban Decay Naked Palettes, this is 2.5 times cheaper. That’s a whole lot of savings in this GST economy.
Sadly, there is GST for beauty goods.

I would most definitely recommend this palette to anybody who loves neutrals and travelling. There are 12 shades that a highly pigmented. With these colors, you can create 13 looks. Instructions at the back shows 3 quads, 4 trios and 6 duos on how you can pair the colors to create those looks. I really like the idea behind the palette. Great for beginners! Contains 5 matte shadows and the rest shimmery or satin finish. The palette is light 9.6 grams making it compact enough to pop into your purse or bag for touch ups. It’s a great alternative to the Urban Decay Naked Palette.
I almost didn’t want to try this out despite so many disappointing reviews. Also, considering the fact that I have too many neutral palettes and haven’t been fully utilising the palettes. But because I swatched a few colors on the spot, the pigmentation was awesome without any primer. I immediately told the sales lady (whom was very helpful by the way, you don’t get alot of assistance these days) “Ok, I’ll take one palette please”.
Looks like this is my new go-to eyeshadow palette in the months to come. Am I the only one who’s enjoying this palette?
