Me: Walks by some new collection of beauty products and whips out my camera phone.
Sales Assistant: Excuse me Miss, no pictures allowed.
Me: Why? I just wanna take picture share on Instagram and Facebook. Can?
Sales Assistant: Company policy so cannot allow you to take.
Me: *walks away* *mumble**grumble*
Have you been in that situation? I can’t help but wonder why is it alright in other countries and/ or different branches of the same brand? I understand it is one’s Company policy but I can’t help feeling irritated coz of the good intention I have which is to share new products/ collection with muh’ fellow mates. Plus, it’s free advertising via social media from that photo taken. No harm right?
Looks like I’m gonna be posting less of new collections from MAC Cosmetics and products from Sephora, Malaysia since it’s their Company’s policy. I was about to show you the latest collection from MAC Cosmetics but unfortunately I wasn’t allowed to take any pictures. I know pictures can be googled but I do prefer to take my own pictures. Such a pity, coz’ I love sharing new stuff with y’all.
If any of you have experienced this in the country you live in and you do know the reason why a Company has such a policy, do share. I’m eager to find out. Till then, Toodles!
Disclaimer: All products were purchased by me unless stated otherwise. Nevertheless, I will provide my honest opinions even if the products were provided for consideration. I am picky and particular in that way.
