This collection was launched at the same time with the Shop MAC Cook MAC collection and Chenman Love & Water Collection 2012. Crazy how all three collections were launch at the same time! I purchased 3 items from the MAC Vera Collection 2012:
- Pearlmatte Face Powder – “Flower Fantasy”: Natural pink blush
- Pearlglide Intense Eyeliner – “Designer Purple”: Deep purple with gold shimmer
- Pearlglide Intense Eyeliner – “Lord It Up”: Shimmery dark brown
I love the print of this face powder which is just “blush” in our everyday terms. When all colors are swirled together with a brush, a natural pink tone is seen. Or, if you like, you can use the colors individually which i find it hard to pick the color when our face brushes are usually bigger except for that corally color on the far top left corner. There are 2 of these face powders but didn’t get the other one as it looks like a highlighter rather than a blush. One or two highlighters is enough for me as I don’t use a lot of highlight on my face. I find that it just makes my pores more visible.
Loving the eyeliners! It feels soft and creamy that when it is applied it feels as though it just glides onto your skin. I would typically use these eye pencils to tight line or apply onto the lower lash line and smudge it out to give a smokey look. These colors usually hang in there for about 3 to 5 hours before i start to see the colors bleeding out into the skin. Mostly because I have very oily skin.
**For the pricing of the products i purchased, please read this awesome cosmetics haul page of mine! Will attempt to create an eye look with these products and might post it up if its worthy looking. Till then, toodles!
