TUTORIAL: FALL LOOK #1

As we all know, Autumn has just arrived in certain countries but definitely not Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Its summer all year round. However, despite the weather I’m in, I have created looks perfect for autumn; so for those who are enjoying autumn at the moment, I d0 hope this tutorial is useful to you. For us Malaysians, I reckon you can pull off this look for night events/ dinners.

Step 1: EYES

Opened Eye View

NYX HD Eyeshadow Base – Apply all over lid; alternative to use is the Urban Decay Primer Potion/ Too Faced Shadow Insurance

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil, “620 Bronze” – Apply all over lid just until a little bit above the crease

MAC Call Me Bubbles Palette Limited Edition, “Brash” – Apply all over the bronze base, if you do not have the color, you may use any bronze or reddish brown color. Apply into 1/2 of the lower lash line

MAC Limited Edition “Moleskin – Apply onto crease area and blend away. If you don’t have this color, an alternative to use is from the Naked Palette, “Naked” or “Buck” depending on your skin tone

Stila In The Light palette, “Sundance”  or any matte dark brown eyeshadow – Apply to the outer crease for some definition.

Stila In The Light palette, “Ebony” or any matte black eyeshadow – Apply 1/2 of the lower lash line closest to the water line; an alternative to use … any black shadow you have! I’m pretty sure everyone has at least one black trustworthy eyeshadow!

MAC Call Me Bubbles Palette Limited Edition – Apply the bronze color a little bit below the black and blend together

Milani Paint Eyeshadow 01 – Apply the white color from the palette or any white eyeshadow you own..

Brows – Apply any dark brown eyeshadow to define it.

Liquid Eyeliner – Loreal Super Liner; “Black Lacquer”; an alternative to use is the Kiss Me Heavy Rotation Liquid Eyeliner. I have a review here if you haven’t already read my awesome post.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Mascara – Apply a good 2 to 3 coats of mascara.

Urban Decay 24/7 Concealer Pencil, “NSA” – Apply onto area where you have obvious dark circles

Semi Closed Eye View

Optional – Water line; you may apply a beige color onto the water line for bigger looking eye effect or a black liner for a sultry/ night look

Step 2: FACE

Apply Garnier B.B. Cream or any of your usual foundation/ B.B Cream that you use all over the face blending it into the hairline.

MAC Mineral Skinfinish, “Light” – Dust all over face to set the foundation/ B.B Cream

Step 3: CHEEKS

MAC  Blush Limited Edition Giggly Mineralize – Apply onto the apples of the cheeks; alternative blush to use can be any blue undertone pink blush you have.

Optional: Apply bronzer to have defined cheekbones and for that glow! I love muh’ Hoola Bronzer!! I’ve got a review here!

Step 4: LIPS

Before I start any application of make up on my face, I like to apply some lip balm to moisturize  my lips as it is usually dry with a lot of flakiness from the dry skin. By doing this step, the lips are moisturized and ready for some lipstick. Just so the lipstick doesn’t look horrid with dry skin peeling off the lips.

MAC Limited Edition Cremesheen, “Hot Gossip” – Apply onto lips; you may use any mauve color. A dupe that I have discovered for this limited edition color is the Revlon Colorburst in Mauve! *somersaults in delight*

Optional: If you don’t like the matte look, you may apply a clear lipgloss to make it look super plump and glossy.

Step 5: Optional

Falsies! I don’t usually put on falsies in my tutorials simply because I haven’t found one that I like. Still exploring and discovering which is ideal for my small asian eyes.
