TUTORIAL: Pink & Black Cut Crease

Tutorial time!! *somersaults*

Hello muh’ lovelies! How have you been doing? I’ve been busy creating looks for your viewing pleasure as usual despite the busy schedule that keeps piling on. Can’t wait to see my schedule filled with only words that says “create a new look”, “review product”, “film a new tutorial”, “attend new product launch” and/or “scout for new products and haul”. How fun right? Here’s a pink and black cut crease look.. enjoy!

STEP 1: EYES

Opened Eye View

Closed Eye View

I swear that liner was straight when I drew it. Funny how it looks super crooked on the right eye.

NYX HD primer – Start with priming your eyelids for the eye shadows to stay on and not crease. Another primer you can use that most people rave about is the Urban Decay Primer Potion, Original formula. NYX is an inexpensive alternative that works as great. I use both brands. Another brand I am eager to try is the Lime Crime eyeshadow helper.

NYX JEP, “Milk” – Apply all over lids for the bright colors to pop

Naked 2 Palette, “Blackout” – Find your crease, use a liner brush to draw the line  slightly above your crease followed by a blending brush and blend upwards towards the brow bone

UD 24/7 Glide On Pencil, “Zero” – Tightline in between the eyelashes and onto the waterline

UD 24/7 Concealer, “NSA” – To conceal those dark circles

NYX Box Of Eyeshadows, “Light Pink”– Apply on the middle 1/3 of the eyelid

NYX Box Of Eyeshadows, “Medium Pink” – Apply onto the inner tear duct and inner 1/3 of the eye and blend into the light pink for that gradient effect

Naked 2 Palette, “Blackout” – Apply onto the “outer-V” area and blend away!

NYX Eye Pencil,”906 White” – Apply lightly onto highest point of your brows

Milani Paint Eyeshadow 01 – Apply the white color from the palette or any white eyeshadow you own onto the highest point of your brows where the NYX eye pencil was applied

NYX Box Of Eyeshadows, “Black” & “Brown” – Mix both colors together and apply onto the eyebrows like below:

Loreal Liquid Eyeliner, “Black Lacquer” – Draw a winged liner or as per your usual type of line you draw

Mascara, Scandeleyes by Rimmel – Apply  good 2 to 3 coats of this!

STEP 2: FACE

Applied Garnier B.B. Cream all over the face as usual.

MAC Mineralized Skinfinish, “Natural” – Dust all over face to set the B.B. Cream

STEP 3: CHEEKS

Bronzer MAC Prolong Wear, “Sun Dipped” – Apply onto the hollows of your cheeks. If you don’t know how to find it, just do the fish face and immediately you will be able to find the area where the bronzer should go.

MAC Peony Petal – Apply onto the apples of the cheeks

STEP 4: LIPS

Rimmel 006, “Pink Blush” – Apply onto your lips

MAC Limited Edition Emancipation Lip Gloss – Apply over the lipstick

STEP 5: OPTIONAL

Falsies! I don’t usually put on falsies in my tutorials simply because I haven’t found one that I like. Still exploring and discovering which is ideal for my small asian eyes. Btw, I’ve just purchased a few eyelashes online. We’ll see if I change my mind about putting on falsies especially on a daily basis.

Brushes I used, not in the exact order:

Stylo mylo pose for fun

A look created just for fun. You may wear this look out at night. I don’t usually go out with such dramatic eye colors/ cut creased eye looks. You’ll most prolly’ see me in neutral shades/ pastel colors. Any looks you’ve recently created? Please do share! Till then, Toodles!

Disclaimer: All products were purchased by me unless stated otherwise. Nevertheless, I will provide my honest opinions even if the products were provided for consideration. I am picky and particular in that way.
