TUTORIAL: Sigma Beauty Paris Palette Look #1

Hello….my lovelies! How has the weekend treated you? Pretty sure it’s nothing but fantabulous. Below is a simplified step-by-step tutorial using the all new Limited Edition of the Paris Palette by Sigma Beauty. I have already reviewed the palette and made swatches in my post here. For the tutorial, please scroll down.

Step 1: EYES

Apply an eyeshadow base all over the lid to help the eyeshadow stay longer and prevent it from creasing  especially in our hot humid weather. I usually use a NYX HD Eyeshadow primer or the Urban Decay Primer Potion (Original).

I usually apply another base layer when it comes to such vibrant eye color; NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk all over the lid. Fingers will do, if not use a synthetic brush.

Step 2:

Eyes Closed View

Apply “Orsay” all over the lid with the brush that came in the palette; Sigma Eye Shading Brush E55 . Please ignore the eyeliner visible at the beginning of the tutorial.  Went out for a while to run errands on my off day and couldn’t leave the house looking pale can I?

Step 3:

Closed Eye View

Apply “Seine” and “Louvre” onto the crease. What I did was dab my brush onto both the colors and applied onto the crease in “wind-shield” wiper motions using the Sigma Blending Brush E25. Don’t forget to keep blending out the harsh lines, just so it looks softer and more natural. I used a clean Sigma Tapered Blending Brush E40. Apply “Versailles” for some highlight below the brow bone. I experienced a lot of fallout with this color. Used a Sigma Medium Angled Shading E70 for this.

Step 4:

Apply “Seine” and “Louvre” onto the lower lash line halfway; I used a MAC 219 Brush. Apply “Orsay” onto the other half of the lower lash line. Don’t forget to blend in the middle where the two colors meet.

Step 5:

Apply your eyeliner; I lined my eyes with the winged effect. The eyeliner used is my go-to eyeliner; KISS ME Heavy Rotation Liquid Eyeliner. If you would like to know why it is my HG product, please read my review here.

Step 6:

Curl and apply mascara onto your eyelashes. I used the Maybelline Hypercurl Mascara in Black. I don’t fancy buying and opening so many mascaras at once coz’ they usually dry up very quickly. That’s why you’ll notice it’s always the same old same old mascara used in every tutorial. I bought a pack of 3. So, can you imagine how long these mascaras are gonna last?

Step 7: Optional

Apply falsies (which I didn’t in this tutorial) and some blue glitter on the lower lash line; NYX Glitter Cream Palette in Eden. I usually like to turn my day make up just by adding some sparkles to the eyelid. Only takes you 2 seconds!

Step 8: FACE

Apply eye concealer, foundation, loose powder of your choice for the face.

Step 9: CHEEKS

Apply “Rouge” as the contour ; a little below your cheekbones and temple. And with the Sigma Large Powder Brush F30 , apply “Peche” onto the apples of your cheek and make sure to blend it in together with the contour line.

Step 10: LIPS

Apply a lip liner of your choice (for a longer lasting effect especially if you’re out having dinner), followed by lipstick & lipgloss. Since the eyes are already very dramatic and bold, I would usually go for a nude/beige lip color.

And voila!!! The finished look…

Excuse the large open pores. Thinking of laser. What do you reckon?
