TUTORIAL: Sleek Cosmetics I Divine PPQ Respect Palette – Look #1

Yeah I know, I know, it’s prolly a little unusual seeing me in such dark colors especially on the lips. What do you think? The look is great for fall/winter and night-time. Enjoy the tutorial below!

Step 1: EYES

NYX HD primer – Start with priming your eyelids for the eye shadows to stay on and not crease. Apply from lid to eyebrow. I usually color my brows with eyeshadow, so the primer is very much needed on the brows.

UD 24/7 Concealer, “NSA” – To conceal those dark circles, apply where needed.

YSL Touche Eclat Radiant Touch – Apply under the eye to brighten muh’ sleepy eyes.

Sleek Respect Palette, “Motown Mink” – Apply all over lid.

Sleek Respect Palette, “Vandelas” – Apply onto crease and lower lash line.

Sleek Respect Palette, “Roberta Black” – Apply onto lower lash line.

Sleek Respect Palette, “Gladys White” – Apply onto highest point of the brow bone.

Stila In The Light palette, “Kitten” – Apply onto inner tear duct area.

Maybelline Hyper Glossy Liquid Liner – Draw a winged effect eyeliner as seen on the picture.

NYX Slide On Glide On, “Jet Black” S07 – Tightline and apply onto water line.

Eyebrows – Sephora Pret-a-Porter palette as seen below. I have a review here.

Step 2: FACE

Revlon Colorstay Whipped Foundation, “Nude” – Apply all over the face. I usually use my beloved Sigma F80 brush. Gives me the “ooh-la-la” smooth skin babeh’!

MAC Mineralized Skinfinish, “Natural” – Dust all over face to set the foundation.

Step 3: CHEEKS

MAC Pro Long Wear from the Hey Sailor! Collection, “Sun Dipped” – Contour the cheeks just so the face looks structured and awesome.

MAC Blush,” Peony Petal” Satin – Lightly dust some blush onto the apples of the cheeks.

Step 4: LIPS

tutesleek18_5Rimmel Lasting Finish, “120 Cutting Edge” – Apply all over lips according to your lip shape.

Optional: You may apply a matching lip liner first for a longer lasting lip color.

Red Cherry #213 – Used a DUO glue as adhesive and stick the lash closest to your original eyelashes. If you are allergic to latex, please do use a latex free eyelash glue.

I’ve heard so much about Red Cherry lashes so I’ve decided to try them out. I have a few pairs in different numbers. Let’s see if Red Cherry fits my eyes. I’ve got Ardell lashes, but unfortunately my eyes didn’t like it and I do find it expensive for a pair of lashes.

So, tell me honestly; did y’all enjoy my tutorial with the usage of dark colors? I hope you did. I was thinking really hard whether I should click on the  “Publish” button. But since, it was super fun creating a look that is not the usual me, I decided to just go for it. It’s always browns and neutrals on a daily basis. How boring right?! Till then, Toodles!

P/S: I’m seen in different tops throughout the tutorial coz’ I was trying to be vain and have many different looks for this tutorial. *LOL*. IMO, clothings and accessories can change the whole look entirely. It was just for fun!
