TUTORIAL: Various Palettes [Holiday Look]

Hello muh’ lovelies! Another holiday look just for kicks. It can be a wearable afternoon look if you’re bold enough to use such fun colors minus the rhinestones.

Step 1: EYES

I kinda’ like doing muh’ brows first these days. Satisfaction when you see those brows conquer and enhance the face.

Eyebrows – Use an angle liner brush to apply and fill in the brows. I used Sephora Pret-a-Porter brown eyeshadow as seen below. You may use any matte brown color that you have. I have a review here on Sephora’s Pret-a-Porter palette.

eyebrows

NYX HD primer – Start with priming your eyelids for the eye shadows to stay on and not crease. Apply from lid to eyebrow and lower lash line.

UD 24/7 Concealer, “NSA” – To conceal those dark circles and/or any blemishes on your face.

Loreal Lucent Magique Light Touch-Up Pen– Apply under the eye. This is done to brighten muh’ sleepy eyes. I do find this too light and bright for my skin tone. I should do a review on this product soon.

NYX JEP, “Milk” – Apply all over lid and lower lash line. I usually do this additional step for any usage of vibrant colors.

Urban Decay Anniversary Palette, “Junkshow” – Apply onto outer crease.

NYX Box of Eyeshadows Palette – “Pink” – Apply onto inner crease, a little below where “Junkshow” was applied.

BH 120 Color Palette Eyeshadow – ” Purple” – Apply 3/4 of the lower lash line.

BH 120 Color Palette Eyeshadow – ” Light Pink” – Apply all over lid.

Stilla In The Light, “Kitten” – Apply onto the inner tear duct.

Stilla In The Light, “Bare” – Apply onto the highest point of the browbone.

Too Faced Shadow Insurance Glitter Glue – Apply onto the lid where the glitters are going to be placed; mainly in the center of the eyelid.

NYX Glitter Cream Palette – Applied the white glitter cream from the palette where the glue was applied. [double up the adhesive to avoid glitter fall out]

TND Cosmetics, Glitter Eyes #6 – Pack on more glitter onto the area where the cream glitter was applied.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Pencil, “Zero” – Tightline and apply onto the water line.

Maybelline Hyper Glossy Liquid Liner – Draw a winged effect eyeliner or however you usually draw your liner.

Optional: Rhinstones – Stick 3 stones on each corner of the eyes. Stick with any lash glue that you have. You don’t have to do this step unless you’d like to spice up the look.

Step 2: FACE

tute20_12

NYX Pore Filler – I applied where necessary. However, most of the time it is applied onto the whole face.

Revlon Colorstay Whipped Foundation, “Nude” – Apply all over face either with your fingers (if you’re comfy using your fingers) or a brush (I usually use the Sigma F80  brush for hygiene and better application purposes). Makes my skin smooth-smooth-baybeh!

MAC Mineralized Skinfinish, “Natural” – Dust all over face to set the foundation. I have a combination to [very] oily skin and plus I live in a really humid country. Don’t really want that foundation to move and melt down the clothes do we?

Optional: MAC Limited Edition, “Sun Dipped” – Contour nose.

MAC Limited Edition, “Golden Lariat” – Highlight nose and a little above the cheeks.

Step 3: CHEEKS

tute20_11

MAC Limited Edition, “Sun Dipped” – Contour at the cheek bones.

MAC Limited Edition, “Warmth of Coral” – Gently apply blush onto the apples of the cheeks.

Optional: MAC Limited Edition , “Modern Mandarin” – Pack on a more vibrant orange-y blush for extra color.

Step 4: LIPS

tute20_13

Kate Moss Collection Lasting Finnish, “113” – Apply all over lips accordingly.

NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss, “Nude Pink” – Top it off with some nice pink-ish nude lip gloss.

Step 5: OPTIONAL

Red Cherry lashes #213 – Use a DUO glue as adhesive and stick the lash closest to your original eyelashes. Snipped the front parts of the eyelashes and now it fits perfectly. Hooray! If you are allergic to latex, please do use a latex free eyelash glue.

Brushes I Used:

Mostly Sigma brushes and a few from some of my shopping sprees in various countries. The list below is in random order of usage.
